I’m Oscar Feiven and I am a social media marketer and content creator.

My interest in online marketing began while studying Digital Film and Television Production at Swansea University. I enjoyed managing my band’s social media presence as well as promoting of a few local clubs as a hobby. Post-graduation, despite having won the award for best Fiction Film at Cardiff’s Ffresh film awards for my final university piece, I decided to focus my attention on social media and use my filming knowledge to help with video content which, in recent years, has become ubiquitous on social platforms.

While living in Cardiff, I was fortunate enough to meet, and shadow, Matt Navara ‘Head of digital marketing at The Next Web – one of the worlds largest online tech publications’, which helped me to gain practical knowledge and a wider understanding of professional digital marketing.

I secured my first digital media role shortly after with Sustrans – a leading national sustainable transport organisation based in Bristol. My time at Sustrans kick-started my career, and within a couple of years, I was responsible for numerous local, national and international businesses accounts, working closely with clients to develop campaign strategies, enhancing brand awareness and leading the production of visual content through graphic design, photography, and film, among over services.

I continue to work as a freelancer and have since expanded my digital skill set to encompass web build, SEO, PPC, integrated marketing, and copywriting, which has enabled me to work with larger clients such as Ford Motorsport, Aston Martin Racing, and the TXM Group – the UK’s largest engineering recruitment agency.

I have a strong belief in doing things that matter – adding value to all communications and will continue to develop my skills as the industry evolves.
